Beautiful Beach Babes | Brisbane and Ballina Family Photographer

This client took me on a road trip down to Ballina for this amazing beach session, and although it was a long day, we had such a great time! I took my sister (aka, resident babysitter) and my two boys for the trip, and they fell in love with this beach as well. Everything was just so gorgeous, especially since we had come from pouring rain in Brisbane to this stunning weather!

And can I tell you how cooperative these kids were? I don't think I've had kids this young be such willing participants for me EVER! Might have helped that mum had some enormous lollipops that she was using as bribery!

Sneak Peek for Zoe and Paul | Brisbane Maternity Photographer

My goodness I wish I looked this good pregnant......Zoe has merely a week and a bit to go before she has her baby, and look at her! She looks amazing! I absolutely love it when a client goes along with anything you want too.....including hopping in a pair of bikinis and jumping in the pool for me!!!!

These guys are such a wonderful couple - and will make the most amazing parents to their little baby. Paul bought my 12 month Bump to Bubba package for Zoe for Christmas, and trust me when I say this isn't the sweetest thing he's done (eg planning an overseas wedding all on his own - pretty amazing if you ask me!!!!).

New Look Website

Well, this has taken me longer than usual (but between Christmas, New Year, and a kid who put us in hospital for the better part of a week, I'm a bit behind!), but finally I have updated my website.

Please go and check out the new look website and let me know what you think!

I now have a shopping cart added on which basically means that you can put any photos from your Private Gallery into the shopping cart, and that sends me through your order - instead of having to email it to me. I haven't had a chance to play with this feature as yet, so if any clients have any trouble with it, please don't hesitate to let me know.

A Happy Little Family | Brisbane Maternity and Family Photographer

I met up with Rachael, Martin and the adorable little Noah at one of my favourite locations, Shorncliffe Pier, for Rachael's maternity session. She only has 3 weeks to go, yet looks much better than I did at halfway through either of my pregnancies! I can't wait to photograph their gorgeous, little newborn in a few weeks time.....and I wish her luck with Noah and a newborn because Noah is one active little monkey!!!

Summer's 6 month shoot | Brisbane Family and Baby Photographer

Gosh time flies, doesn't it? It just seems like the other day I was doing this little cutie's newborn shoot! And she's gone and turned 6 months old already!!! I adore her big, blue eyes....and this was the last chance for some big, gummy smiles, as she cut her first tooth last night!



I can't tell you how much I adore this photo - and I so wanted to bring this adorable little bonnet home with me! This was Summer's christening bonnet.




We had to take the basket back to this area - hasn't she grown?


I love when babies do that whole "flying" thing!



I know this is a strange one to post, but I want my clients to remember EVERY bit of their kids. My son used to do this thing with his lip when he was sad, and I so wish I had a photo of it, cos I can't really remember exactly what it was like. Our kids aren't totally happy all the time, so why don't we cherish the photos of them when they are sad too?

Happy New Year - NOT!

I have to send big apologies to all current clients of Fiona Carson Photography. I am very behind in things at the moment, but I do have a good excuse (that doesn't involve pure indulgence from Christmas and the New Year!). Last week my son had a 6+ minute seizure, and we ended up in hospital for a few hours. The next day he ended up having 5 more seizures, and we've been in hospital ever since. To cut a long story short, we still aren't sure what was causing the seizures, but some initial tests have ruled out epilepsy. He's fighting a respiratory infection (which may have something to do with it), so once he's over that, we can start weaning him off the anti-convulsive medication and see what happens.

In any case, this has taken up my every waking moment for the past week...so I'm so sorry if you are due a photo order, or if I haven't uploaded your gallery to my website or if I just haven't gotten around to respond to your email. Please accept my sincerest apologies, and I promise I will get around to everything very soon - but for now, poor little Max must be my first priority, as I'm sure you can understand.
