Beautiful Beach Babes | Brisbane and Ballina Family Photographer

This client took me on a road trip down to Ballina for this amazing beach session, and although it was a long day, we had such a great time! I took my sister (aka, resident babysitter) and my two boys for the trip, and they fell in love with this beach as well. Everything was just so gorgeous, especially since we had come from pouring rain in Brisbane to this stunning weather!

And can I tell you how cooperative these kids were? I don't think I've had kids this young be such willing participants for me EVER! Might have helped that mum had some enormous lollipops that she was using as bribery!

Lisa contacted me a few weeks ago about doing a family session while everyone was home for Christmas - and being such a wonderfully good looking family, it made my afternoon a breeze! These guys have spent 16 odd years in this house, and now that the last of the kids is about to move out, they are building a smaller house - but wanted some nice family photos done prior to selling this one. The house was so amazing, I really hope I've done it justice.

I have known Stacey for a very long time - her big sister is one of my oldest and dearest friends, so it was a joy and honour to be photographing her and Aaron at this very special time in their lives.

They've most likely been waiting for these photos (so, so sorry for the delay - 5 boys, and 6 adults in one house, all ready for christmas, is a little chaotic to say the least!!!), so I'll just get straight into it.

It started raining in the first 10mins of our session...soon stopped thank god, but not before Stace caught a few rain drops on that gorgeous belly!

New Baby Boy | Brisbane Newborn and Family Photographer

Twins + 1 | Brisbane Family Photographer

Today's family session was with twins, Cooper and Olivia and 2 year old, sassy Ellen (and their mum and dad of course!!!). Ellen was hilarious - she didn't want a bar of me until right at the end of the session, and she has the BEST deathstare I've ever seen on a 2 year old!!!! I love a bit of spunk in a kid, so I thought she was the bees knees. Cooper and Olivia were adorable and up for anything (as long as it included lollipops of course!). Twins always facinate me - I love to see them interact together.

I had a great time with these 3, running around in leaves, doing some jumping, and then a play at the park.

Part 1 of Hannah's B'day Sesson | Brisbane Family Photographer

Well, you'll be seeing a little more of this gorgeous, little thing as our session got cut very short today with a huge storm! Thank god we didn't get stuck in the middle of it (unlike my husband and 2 boys!), and were able to find some shelter in time, because that rain was torrential!

So, just 3 photos for today, but look for Hannah in a few weeks time!

Seriously, aren't these eyes a photographer's dream? I swear I nearly giggled like a school girl when I spotted those peepers!


I love this look Hannah is giving me - like she's not too sure of me, but also intrigued at the same time.

Charmaine, Anthony and Kids | Brisbane Family Photographer

I turned up to today's session rearing to go - I LOVE newborn sessions. Unfortunately, I had forgotten my beanbag to put this gorgeous newborn in....I swear I could be marketing myself as Brisbane's Ditziest Photographer at the moment! Remember that session a few months back where I left the camera battery at home on the recharger? Yeah, haven't done that one again! Bet I don't leave my beanbag home again now either!!!!

In any case, Charmaine and Anthony were very forgiving, and after a quick trip to the shops for a new one, I was back and rearing to go. Again.

I got some gorgeous photos of the kids and some of the whole family that I ADORE! So, I'll just get straight onto it. Anthony and Charmaine, thank you for a wonderful afternoon. I hope Kai is ok and doesn't get sick afterall. Talk to you soon.

Sneak Peek for Loz | Brisbane Maternity Photographer

Well after finding the perfect location for Loz's maternity photos (we've been on the hunt for months!), we got there, and as soon as we stepped out of the car, the heavens opened up! So, unfortunately we only got about 10mins worth of photos....how disappointing! Hopefully we might get a chance for some more though - otherwise we'll be taking Loz's newborn back here for his photos!!!!!
